RightsCon Summit (Brussels, 2017). Coordination of Round table on tools available to inform about risks to journalists in Europe. Participants: Council of Europe, UNESCO, Index of Censorship, and Reporters without Borders.
World Forum for Democracy (Strasbourg 2016). Presentation of state of Media Literacy in Europe in the Lab “Deciphering media”.
TransparencyCamp Europe, Amsterdam, 1 June 2016, This unconference focused on open data, new technologies and policies that make the EU work for people, stimulate open government and help grasp the workings of the various EU institutions. I presented an idea of an app for protection of journalists. This app will be based on data on journalist rights, from the Media Pluralism Monitor, Council of Europe, and the Center for Media, Data and Society (CMDS) at CEU.
Digital Venice, 8 July 2014, a high-level meeting gathering policy, industry and innovation leaders from all over Europe to trace the road to a growing, sustainable and digital economy. I gave a short talk about Open Government and Public Participation at the workshop Open Government: a strategy for governance innovation and inclusive growth organised by Diritto di Sapere and Open Government Forum Italy.
OSCE/ODIHR Youth Forum, 16-17 June 2014, Warsaw. I presented my paper on youth political participation with focus on civil society organizations active in advocating and lobbying for changes to policies, and facilitated a group of youth leaders over 2 days in order to produce recommendations on youth political participation to OSCE and its member states.
Open Government Partnership (OGP) Regional Meeting for Europe, Dublin, 8-9 May 2014. Presentation: “The Swedish Action Plan on transparency, open data and development aid: highlights and the way forward”. The Dublin meeting aimed at providing an opportunity for Ministers, officials and civil society to exchange ideas on how to make the new OGP Action Plans ambitious, relevant and action orientated.
Digital Discrimination & Social Networks Conference. Barcelona, 13-14 March 2014. The ICUD (Internet: Creatively Unveil hidden forms of Discrimination) Conference included academics, activists, youth workers, Internet and social networks experts, and members of NGOs. Presentation: “How inclusive is digital activism?”.

Personal Democracy Forum, Poland-Central Eastern Europe. Presentation on “Engaging citizens in the parliamentary process – findings from user surveys of parliamentary informatics projects”. 1-2 Feb. 2013, Warsaw. The Forum explored the interaction between open Internet and open democracy and was organized by the Personal Democracy Media in cooperation with Fundacja ePaństwo (ePF).
